Golem is a possibly German electrical equipment and tool manufacturer, with Golem branded tools, power tools, and heavy equipment found across PATHOS-II. In SOMA, Golem equipment appears as props, and their most notable product, the Golem Stunmate X32 V.2, is used by Simon Jarrett.
Behind the Scenes[]
- The name Golem alludes to the possibility that the company manufactures, or at one point manufactured, robotics. An early Golem logo that features Automaten in the name, which is German for Automaton, or Machines, supports this.
- The use of Automaten could allude to the company possibly being German.
