Alice Koster is a Canadian who was a Payload Manager on PATHOS-II, stationed at Theta. In SOMA, she was the love interest of her colleague Brandon Wan.
Biography
Alice was stationed at Theta. She and Brandon Wan began a relationship when he was relocated from Delta to Theta. She and Brandon had their brain scans done together for the ARK project on the 24th and 25th of August, 2103 respectively.
She was part of the group that attempted to leave Theta when it was overrun by proxies. However, she was ultimately unable to escape and was captured by Terry Akers at the shuttle station.
In SOMA
Alice's "human" form can be seen when it is used by Catherine Chun inside of the simulation of Brandon Wan. She can be heard on a data buffer near the elevator of the Theta Labs evacuating to the basement with the rest of the group.
Her comatose body can be found inside of a shuttle at the Theta shuttle station, kept alive by the WAU. Listening closely reveals that she is having a dream about being on a date with Brandon Wan.
Behind the Scenes
- The story of Wan and Koster was originally much more grim and morose. They had a child together, but when everything went down and they were separated, Wan had the baby, along with a gun, and used the gun to shoot the baby and himself.
