I recently removed the ¨stub¨ notice of the ARK page after working on it. A section I added was the in-game poll and it has me wonder if the poll can't be made a reality, either on the actual page or main page.
Multi-decision polls aren't supported by Fandom but, after some quick researching, one can embed a Google Form with <googleform /> tag. For example,
I recently attempted to improve the Adam Golaski article but when comparing my improved version against the stub article of Imogen Reed; there are clear differences. Mine includes references and is much more descriptive at the price of a large size where the Reed one is more compiled at the price of details.
Prior to continuing either scaling back the Golaski article or scaling up the Imogen one, which one do you believe is best to base the other one on?
Adam Golaski's article may need to be scaled back, but that's entirely based on how important the content of the page is. Try to make sure there's no useless information, for example. And of course, the SOMA section really needs to be added at some point.
Aside from that, it's probably best to base the Imogen Reed page on the Adam Golaski one. While information should be as efficient and precise as possible, her page is extremely lacking in content.
Not sure why some vital information was removed from some pages I edited, so sorry about that. I think it has something to do with the way the infoboxes are set up on this wikia. Maybe I wasn't paying close enough attention. Robin Bass' page for example. I didn't mean to remove her nationality or birthday. I really just want to help. Hopefully it didn't result in too many revisions and rollbacks. I'm an admin on 3 wikias, I should know better. >_>
You may also want to specify on the style manual that this wikia uses quotes ABOVE the info box. Pretty much every wikia I frequently edit at or read have the quote UNDER the infobox so that it fits better on the page. This is which is why I had moved some of them. But I see you've moved them back, so I won't move them again. Your wikia, not mine. But just a suggestion, nonetheless.
For clarification, I looked and it wasn't you who removed her nationality, and her birth date was never on the page to begin with and was a recent addition while I was looking through SOMA's files.
I apologize if my edit message came across as condescending; while I was confused by the removed edits mistakes happen and I think the reason the information was removed was because someone vandalized the page, then a random user manually edited the page rather than reverting it to the last edit, which is a lot more efficient, for some reason.
I put the quote above the infobox as putting it under it causes it to be squished alongside wiki content, meaning that for character's who have a longer quote on their page, such as Johan Ross, the content is pushed down.
Thanks for the message and sorry for the misunderstanding,
I recently discovered a confusion regarding Jacob and Harry Halperin. There are two of them, both working at Omichron, one featured in Transmissions #1 and one in logs in Soma.
I've corrected most of the mentions but I'm unable to rename this file to Harry Halperin:
File:Adam Golaski has a conversation with Jacob Halperin's Mockingbird.png
(Unable to link with-out the image being featured here)
If you decide that it's worth it? Alter the following pages' galleries to prevent the file from breaking.
I believe those two are the only one that uses the image.
Simon Jarrett's page has two pictures: Human & Ductile. Ductile is an interesting word.
Catherine Chun's page has two pictures but lacks one of when she was in a mechanical body.
I want to add that mechanical body but wonder if you advice the same Ductile designation?
Additionally; according to the Mockingbird page, Vigdis Jonsdottir is the mechanical machine found in the beginning of the game, preventing the usage of consoles 'til you pull out her wires. This is only mentioned Mockingbird page--which is weird enough to cause me to question the vailidity of the claim--which means that the mechanical body of Jonsdottir can be added as a picture also under the designation ductile, should it?
If I have to choose: I'll exchange ductile to a more conventional term then remove the claim that Vigdis is that robot--until verification is possible by storing it on the talk page--then add images.
Ductile in this case refers to the Ductile Suit that Simon Jarrett is inhabitating in his second form.
Anyway, this discussion has made me decided that there should only be on image in the infobox, which is the character's human form. That's what the page of Robin Bass does and I think it looks a lot better formatting wise.
I realize that the infobox is regarding the original but many plot/details are of the Mockingbird versions/other creations. To me it's odd to remove pictures of those iterations but allow their story set to pictures of the original. I wonder, is it okay to, at least, add the pictures to the mid-plot description, such as: In Catherine Chun to add pictures of her mechanical then Omnitool iterations In SOMA section? If no: Can we add them to the Gallery section?
https://soma.wikia.com/wiki/Brain_scan has two quotes. The issues is that the last one by default ends up at the bottom of the page so the temporary solution is to use three quotes, to allow the first two to appear. I've left details in the page, only witnessable in Edit mode. You may want to investigate.
What's up I'm the owner of the Amnesia Wiki, and I recently found out about a Discord Server that is dedicated to Frictional Games and their games. I joined and was warmly welcomed, and new channels were created for talk about wiki editing. It has an active modding community in both HPL2 and HPL3. I already had my own discord server specifically for the wiki which I linked to on the site with Discord Integrator, but since it was pretty inactive, I switched it to this general Frictional Games Discord.
What I'm saying is, you should do the same.
It would be fantastic if we could grow this community and give everyone that is passionate about these games a place to talk. As Frictional creates more and more games, the community is just bound to grow.
I hope to see you there. Also, I'm sorry for sounding like a bloody commercial.
I probably should've clarified, I'm not so much retiring, but it wouldn't hurt to have anyone else helping around here, as long as they are part of the SOMA community of course. Just notify me if anyone would like to become admin.
What happened to the Simon on Earth after the ARK launched is up to the player and was intentionally left ambiguous by Frictional Games. If you've played Amnesia: The Dark Descent or Penumbra: Overture/Penumbra: Black Plague before, also made by Frictional Games, you'll see that ambiguity is a tool they use a lot in their stories.
Heya Cridone! Long time no talk. I noticed you seem to edit this wiki pretty actively which is a happy little coincidence. Anyway, to the point, I'm interested in creating a series of pages to document the cut and unused content in the game. Since I'm pretty new to editing this wiki and don't use Wikia that often, it'd be really cool if you could help out to fix formatting and whatever of the pages when you get the chance? I just reckon it'd be nice to have somewhere actually documenting the cut stuff in the game and since it's a personal interest of mine I figured I'd take a shot at being the one to do it. Thanks!
Cridone wrote: Edit: Actually, on second thought, it's fine to have several pages for unused content. So go ahead.
Would it be alright to add new sections to pre-existing pages (such as omicron's page) to detail things cut from specifically that area that wouldn't really fit in a page of their own or would it be best to find a way to incorporate such things into the pre-existing headings?
Edit: For example, Omicron (again) has a bunch of commented out code for events and dialogue and such that really wouldn't work in their own page.
I don't think that would really fit into the page. Anyway, I'll look more into this tomorrow as it's 12 AM where I am and I'd like to get some sleep. Perhaps I'll discuss it some more tomorrow if you're on.

Alright, have a good night. Thanks for the help so far.
Why did you change the name of the page to not have all caps? I thought the film title was confirmed to be in all caps. Furthermore, why did you not leave a redirect at "DEPTH", to help people who might be searching for that exact name instead of "Depth"?
When you do major moves like that, it is really helpful to include a source or a reason why in the edit summary, even if you are this Wiki's founder.
I've looked around and while I could've missed something, I don't think it's ever said that the title of the film is in all caps. Why has the page been in all caps for the longest time? I'm not really sure and didn't noticeuntil recently.
UltimateKuriboh wrote: why did you not leave a redirect at "DEPTH"
Since it's never officially stated the title of the film is in all caps, there's no point in making a redirect.
